Index Forwarding Software Signals to a Phone
TrendSuite Institutional was the first Marko Nikolic Investment Research software that introduced Push to Phone notifications back in June 2013. This feature allows users to reliably forward (i.e. "push") all signals issued by TrendSuite to their iOS (iPhone, iPad) or Android smartphone in real-time. Since then, Push to Phone Notifications have additionally been incorporated into other Marko Nikolic Software, including MarketScalper PRO v9.5, TradeBuilder Classic v6.0, and TradeBuilder Core v4.5.

This tutorial is intended to help you understand what Push to Phone Notifications are, and how to set them up with Marko Nikolic software and your Metatrader 4 platform.

SET-UP PUSH-TO-PHONE NOTIFICATIONS

Continuing where the introduction left off, the Push to Phone Notifications enable users to trade signals generated by the desktop version of Metatrader 4 (onto which Marko Nikolic Investment Research software is installed) without having to be physically next to the computer. Think of your desktop as a signal server, and your phone as a signal recipient. For example, once TrendSuite is set-up on the Metatrader 4 desktop computer, you can run it 24 hours and execute signals as they are sent to your phone. Metatrader 4 mobile app hooks to your broker's servers for quick and convenient order execution.

All Marko Nikolic Investment Research software for the Metatrader 4 platform are fully capable of pushing their signal alerts to an iOS or Android device. To activate, set the Push_Notifications_To_Phone parameter to TRUE and install Metatrader Mobile app on your iOS (iPhone, iPad) or Android phone. Start the app, then go to Settings >> Messages. This is where all TrendSuite signal alerts will be sent, stored, and archived. You will be notified of each new signal in real-time (typically within 0.5-2 seconds) in fashion similar to that of receiving a text message (SMS).

Don’t forget to enable Push Notifications in your desktop (Windows) version of Metatrader 4. Go to Tools>>Options>>Notifications. Tick Enable Push Notifications. Under "Metaquotes ID", enter your unique ID number, which is the number listed on top of the "Messages" page within the mobile app - see above screenshot, it starts with "My ID: ".

The two mobile version of the Metatrader 4 platform can be downloaded via these links:

Android app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai...etatrader4

SET-UP A METATRADER 4 SERVER (OPTIONAL)

You can set-up a third party Windows-based server or VPS to run one or more instances of Metatrader 4, with TrendSuite (or other Marko Nikolic software) and Push Notifications turned on. Unlike your home computer that is prone to internet connection issues, most third party servers have 99.9% or higher uptime, ensuring you receive all potential signals in timely fashion. There are many companies out there offering Windows-based server hosting and VPS subscriptions. Google around and you’ll find plenty of options. My personal favorite is Amazon Web Services (EC2). Whomever you decide to go with, make sure that the server/VPS service offers administrative access so you can install 3rd party Metatrader add-ons like TrendSuite.

COMPATIBLE SOFTWARE
All Metatrader 4 versions of Marko Nikolic Investment Research software offer Push to Phone Notifications right within the Indicator Settings window. It is one of several alert options, others being e-mail notifications, pop-up, audio, and visual (arrow). As of this writing Marko Nikolic Investment Research offers the following software for the Metatrader 4 platform: TrendSuite Institutional, MarketScalper PRO v9.5 (and higher), TradeBuilder Classic v6.0 (and higher), and TradeBuilder Core v4.5 (and higher).
