Above: MarketScalper PRO with EA on GBP/USD M5. All signals shown (indicator) with select trades taken (EA).

With MarketScalper PRO v10's introduction back in Q4 2014 and subsequent releases since, the demand for templates (preconfigured settings) has gone down significantly - which is why none have been posted on the user community forum in a while. For those wondering why, it all has to do with the nature of new algorithmic frameworks powering the new versions (10-13). Unlike v9.9 and earlier, which had many user input fields and required a lot of manual tweaking, new versions feature an auto-adaptive algorithm with just a single, main parameter (Probability, representing user's level of risk). The rest of the calculations are all done "under the hood", adapting to each market's price behavior. As such, "what works" is pretty quickly discovered - even more so now that MarketScalper's Expert Adviser (EA) is out. The EA is capable of auto-optimization - back-testing and ranking of best performing Probability, Take Profit, and Stop Loss values for a given market. The entire process typically takes 10-60 minutes and without user input.

Nevertheless, clients (existing and prospective) and especially those that do not own the EA have asked me to highlight markets and time frames that perform best with MarketScalper's algorithm. Starting today and continuing into foreseeable future, I will do just that. I will try to publish a new showcase weekly or bi-weekly, depending on my schedule, but you can expect at least one backtested strategy a month. Of course, if you want immediate performance statistics to specific markets and time frames you may wish to get the EA but it's in no way necessary for operation and successful trading with MarketScalper.

I'll kick off the showcase with a conservative (high probability) GBP/USD M5 strategy tomorrow, which will also include a list of all applied parameters. If you have any specific requests or suggestions, contact us, or leave a comment on the forum.
